Mitch is a special little English Bulldog who was born by C-section. At birth, the area between his umbilical cord and chest cavity had not fully closed. Although this can sound alarming, he came into the world kicking, screaming, and full of life, which are all excellent signs in a newborn puppy.
After Mom's C-section was completed, the veterinarian repaired the opening surgically. As Mitch grew, it became apparent that he had a hernia in that area, so he recently underwent a second corrective surgery at nine weeks old. The surgery was successful, but he will likely always have a very small residual hernia. Because of this, he is being offered at a reduced price.
Most importantly, Mitch is a happy, healthy, playful little boy. He is full of personality, loves people, knows his name, and follows you everywhere. He is incredibly affectionate and has been a joy to raise. It is honestly hard for me to see him go because he is such an awesome puppy.
At this time, I have no concerns about his overall health or quality of life. He eats well, plays hard, and acts just like any other fun-loving bulldog puppy. I'm simply being transparent about his medical history so his future family has all the information they need.
